WPP media investment arm GroupM has appointed Toby Jenner global president, GroupM Clients, a new role at the company. The appointment marks an expanded remit for Jenner who will retain his role as global CEO of media agency network Wavemaker.  

In his new role, Jenner will oversee strategy and operations for GroupM's business development, growth, marketing, and communications to clients, employees, and industry audiences. He will work closely with agency and GroupM leadership to identify growth opportunities, develop integrated solutions and communicate GroupM's value proposition.  

Jenner was appointed global CEO at Wavemaker in 2019. He joined from sibling agency Mediacom where he had most recently served as worldwide chief operations officer. Wavemaker was formed in 2017 with the merger of MEC and Maxus.
